Neat Apparel Shark Tank Update and Net Worth

neat apparel shark tank update and net worth

Guess what, you are a self-conscious guy, and you always need something which helps you look cool and attractive. Then here comes a technology which helps you look cool even if you are not. Let’s welcome Neat Apparel, a premium garment company which specializes in special kinds of shirts, especially T-shirts which do not show sweat even if you are drenched in it. It has an amazing fabric which absorbs the sweat inside the lining of the shirt, through which no one can tell that you are sweating from inside.

The coolest part of Neat Apparel is that it has a patented sweat-absorbing fabric lining which absorbs the sweat quickly and spreads it all around the shirt and dries it fast. The other best part of the shirt is a mix of the hydrophobic and hydrophilic nature of the shirt.

The outer layer of the shirt is hydrophobic (water-repellent), and the inside of it is hydrophilic (water-loving). The chemistry of these two makes Neat Apparel one of its own kind in the garment industry. Jim Huffman and Tyler Stelter are the CEO and COO of Neat Apparel. They came to Shark Tank seeking $400k for 5% equity in their company.

Neat Apparel Net Worth

Jim Huffman and Tyler Stelter came on Shark Tank asking for $400,000 for 5% of Neat Apparel. That meant they valued their company at $8 million. But Lori Greiner wanted more equity for that money. She offered them $400,000 for 15%, along with 75 cents from every order until she got her investment back. The founders accepted her offer, which valued Neat Apparel at about $2.67 million. Neat Apparel was already making good sales before Shark Tank. In 2025, the company made around $700,000 in net sales, which was more than three times what it had made the year before. And in 2026, Jim expected sales to reach between $1.5 million and $2 million. The company was also profitable, with an expected profit margin of around 15% for the year. Neat Apparel is still in business in 2026. It has also introduced the Sweat Defender Crew, which sells for $59.99. One business estimate puts Neat Apparel's value at around $8 million, but the company has not confirmed that amount. So, the latest on-screen deal valued Neat Apparel at about $2.67 million, while its actual current net worth is not publicly known. The deal with Lori was also still being finalized after the episode aired.

Did Neat Apparel Get a Deal on Shark Tank?

Yes! Neat Apparel got an amazing offer from Lori Greiner for $400k for 15% equity in their company along with a 75-cent royalty per order until she gets her money back. That was an amazing deal after all. At first, they got two rejections from the Sharks consecutively. But they didn’t give up on their dream. Then, they got an offer from Kendra Scott for $400k for 20% equity. Later, they got an offer from Daniel Lubetzky for $400k for 25% equity. Moving on, Lori Greiner also jumped in and offered them an incredible offer with some sharky vibes, for $400k for 15% equity along with a 75-cent royalty per order until she gets her money back. Upon hearing that offer, the founders quickly accepted her offer. They all congratulated each other and closed the deal with a positive gesture.

Founders’ Backstory

Jim Huffman is the founder and CEO of Neat Apparel. While Mr. Tyler Stelter is the COO. They both are partners in their company. Mr. Jim Huffman had a background in the marketing business. He had also been in the business for a long time. While Mr. Tyler joined him later. They both belonged to the United States of America. They joined hands for their joint venture. They started this company back in 2023. They came up with that crazy idea to overcome the frustration of sweating, which causes embarrassment while we are at work or outside.

So, they came up with a solution by bringing up a double-layer fabric which has an outer layer made up of hydrophobic fiber and an inner layer made up of hydrophilic fiber. They both worked as moisture-repellent and moisture-absorbent layers consecutively. They had an incredible business idea. But business, no matter how good it is, never makes a profit until or unless you market it very well. So, to fill that business gap, they came to Shark Tank seeking $400k for 5% equity in their company.

Neat Apparel Shark Tank Pitch

The Neat Apparel Shark Tank pitch began with Mr. Tyler Stelter introducing himself as the COO of the company, while Jim Huffman came out of the box nearby wearing a T-shirt with no apparent sweat from outside. Then he introduced himself as the CEO of Neat Apparel. Then he asked for $400k for 5% equity in their company. Then they introduced their unique sweat-absorbing shirt to the Sharks. They also provided the Sharks with one sample each to demonstrate to them how their product works. After finishing the pitch, they got into business with the Sharks.

Two of them kicked them out of the business. Kendra Scott, who was seemingly interested in the offer, offered them $400k for 20% equity in their business. Then, Daniel jumped in and offered them $400k for 25% equity. At the end, Miss Lori Greiner stepped in and offered them a quite generous offer with shark hands, for $400k for 15% equity along with a 75-cent royalty per order. Upon hearing that offer, the founders didn’t even bother to think twice and just accepted her offer for $400k for 15% equity in their business.

Shark Questions, Negotiations, Discussion & Reactions

Lori Greiner asked, “What do you sell it for?” They told her that they sell it for $60. And it costs them $11.70 to produce a single piece. Upon hearing that answer, Lori was quite satisfied with the price of the shirt. But she was not too surprised at all.

Kevin O’Leary asked them about their CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost). They told him that their CAC was $14 to acquire a customer over their total spend. Moreover, they added that their profit is also increasing and they are getting 3x profit per piece. Upon hearing that, Kevin was very impressed and appreciated their business.

Kendra Scott asked them how their shirt works. They told her that their shirt actually breathes within, with one of their patented fabrics which has a special lining that absorbs sweat fast. Upon hearing that, Kendra was quite amazed and looked dazzled by their response.

Daniel Lubetzky asked them how many units they had sold this year. They told Daniel that in 2026, they sold 600k units of their overall sales. Moreover, they also told him that they are getting 11% as net profit. Upon hearing that,

Rashaun Williams asked them about their valuation and growth stats. The founders told him that they have been working for the $4M valuation, but they aren’t close yet. Moreover, they said that their growth is a bit slow. Upon hearing that, Rashaun couldn’t absorb that and just nodded at their business presentation.

Why Some Sharks Said No

Rashaun Williams couldn’t see them as a potentially growing business at all. So, he just simply walked out of the deal.

Kevin O’Leary saw them as a small business which doesn’t have any reasonable CAC and ROI. So, he just simply walked out of the deal.
