Statistics: Jamie Kern Lima Invested $233k on Shark Tank

Jamie Kern Lima knew how hard it could be to get people interested in a product. Jamie started IT Cosmetics because she couldn’t find makeup that worked well with her rosacea. Building the company was another problem. She heard no plenty of times before the business really took off. Years later, L’Oréal bought IT Cosmetics for $1.2 billion.

But she had very little time to find another business she liked on Shark Tank. Jamie appeared in only one Season 16 episode, and four companies came into the Tank that day. She still found two she wanted to invest in, Petite Keep and onewith.

And both deals had other Sharks involved. Barbara Corcoran joined Jamie on onewith, while Barbara and Mark Cuban were both there for Petite Keep. Counting Jamie’s part of onewith at $100,000 and one-third of the Petite Keep money at about $133,333 gives her about $233,333 from the two deals.

Petite Keep had three Sharks putting money into the deal. Jamie, Barbara and Mark each got 5%, but we don’t know how they divided the $400,000 between them. If we split it three ways, Jamie gets about $133,333. That works for counting her Shark Tank amount, although we don’t know if that is how much Jamie actually put in.

How Much Did Jamie Kern Lima Invest on Shark Tank?

Jamie was part of $600,000 in Shark Tank deals altogether. But she had another Shark with her every time, so $600,000 was never all Jamie’s money. onewith was a $200,000 deal with Barbara Corcoran, and Petite Keep was $400,000 with Barbara and Mark Cuban.

The onewith money is pretty clear. Jamie and Barbara each got 10% of the company, and onewith later confirmed that both of them still own those shares. Jamie’s part of that investment was $100,000.

Petite Keep is where we have to count things differently. Jamie, Barbara and Mark each got 5%, and splitting the $400,000 between the three gives Jamie about $133,333. We don’t actually know if they divided the cash that way though.

So, adding $100,000 from onewith and about $133,333 from Petite Keep gives Jamie an attributed Shark Tank amount of about $233,333. The first amount is confirmed much more clearly than the second.

Jamie Kern Lima’s Attributed $133,333 Petite Keep Deal

Lindsay Mullenger had already found plenty of customers for Petite Keep before Shark Tank. The company made personalized trunks for keeping things from weddings, babies and other important parts of someone’s life. And by 2023, Petite Keep was already doing $5 million in sales.

Lindsay came in asking for $400,000 for 5%. That put the company at an $8 million valuation, which was quite a number to bring into the Tank. But Petite Keep was not a business still waiting to find out if people would buy the product.

Jamie wanted to invest, and eventually Barbara Corcoran and Mark Cuban came into the deal too. The three Sharks offered Lindsay $400,000 for 15%, with each of them getting 5%. Lindsay accepted.

That gives Jamie about $133,333 if we divide the money equally between the three Sharks. We know Jamie stayed connected with Petite Keep after Shark Tank, and Lindsay later described her as a partner. But the exact cash split between Jamie, Barbara and Mark was never made public.

Jamie Kern Lima Invested $100,000 in onewith

Hayley Segar was tired of swimsuits digging into her body. The seams and elastic could leave lines, so she started onewith with a different idea. Her swimsuits were made without those uncomfortable edges and were supposed to fit more like seamless underwear.

And people were already buying them before Shark Tank. onewith had reached around $2.3 million in sales by the time Hayley met the Sharks. She was asking for $200,000 for 5% of the company.

Barbara Corcoran offered $200,000 for 20%, and Jamie wanted onewith too. Instead of making Hayley choose between them, Barbara suggested that she and Jamie do the deal together. Hayley agreed to $200,000 for 20%, giving each Shark 10%.

Jamie had $100,000 in the onewith deal. And this one actually went through after Shark Tank. onewith later confirmed that Jamie and Barbara each own 10% of the company. The business kept growing too, moving into a bigger warehouse in 2025 and getting a U.S. utility patent for its swimsuit design.

What Happened to Jamie Kern Lima’s Shark Tank Companies?

Both of Jamie’s Shark Tank companies kept going after their episode. And with onewith, we know quite a bit about what happened to the deal itself. Hayley later confirmed that Jamie and Barbara actually became investors and each still owns 10% of the company.

Petite Keep kept going after Shark Tank too. Lindsay continued talking about Jamie as a partner, and the company still connected Jamie, Barbara and Mark with the business. And 2025 was a pretty big year for Petite Keep. The company called it a record-breaking year and added more than 60 artisans.

There hasn’t been an acquisition or exit for either company. So, we don’t have a number showing how much money Jamie has made from onewith or Petite Keep. The businesses can grow and the Sharks can remain involved, but that still doesn’t tell us what Jamie’s investment is worth today.

Jamie Kern Lima Built IT Cosmetics Before Shark Tank

Jamie did not start IT Cosmetics because she had spent her career in the beauty business. Jamie was working in television at the time, and she had rosacea. Finding makeup that actually looked good on her skin wasn’t easy. So she and Paulo Lima started IT Cosmetics in 2008.

Getting people to believe in the products took quite a while. Jamie heard no from retailers and other people in the beauty industry, but she kept trying to sell the makeup. Then QVC gave her a chance to show the products on live television.

Then Jamie got a chance to sell IT Cosmetics on QVC. She went on live television without covering up her rosacea and showed people what her skin actually looked like. Then she put the makeup on. Viewers could see for themselves what the product did.

IT Cosmetics eventually reached major retailers and became a much bigger company. In the 12 months ending June 2016, it had $182 million in net sales. Then L’Oréal bought IT Cosmetics for $1.2 billion in cash.

Jamie Kern Lima’s Current Status

Jamie stayed with IT Cosmetics for a few years after selling it. Then in 2019, she stepped away from running the company every day. She didn’t stop working though. Investing in other businesses became one of the things she did next.

And Shark Tank only showed two of those investments. Forbes says Jamie has invested in more than a dozen companies since selling IT Cosmetics. She also started writing books, with Believe IT followed by Worthy.

Then there is The Jamie Kern Lima Show. Jamie went back to spending plenty of time in front of a camera and microphone, this time talking with guests about business, confidence and other parts of their lives. The podcast won a Gracie Award in 2025.

Forbes put Jamie’s net worth at around $670 million in 2025. But that is still an estimate. We don’t actually know exactly how much Jamie is worth. But most of her money goes back to IT Cosmetics and the company she spent years building before Shark Tank.

Final Words

Jamie only got to see four businesses during her one Shark Tank episode. And she wanted to invest in two of them. Neither company was just getting started either. Petite Keep was already making millions in sales, and onewith had reached around $2.3 million.

There was something familiar about onewith too. Hayley started the company because she was unhappy with the swimsuits she was wearing, so she made something different. Jamie had done something pretty similar years earlier when the makeup she could find wasn’t working for her rosacea.

Jamie never made a Shark Tank deal by herself. Barbara was there with her for onewith, and then Petite Keep had Barbara and Mark investing with Jamie. So both times Jamie said yes, another Shark was putting money in too.

And the two businesses are still going. We know the onewith deal closed, while Petite Keep still has Jamie publicly connected with the company. Jamie only saw four businesses during her time on Shark Tank. She ended up wanting two of them. Not bad for one episode.
